A dragoon is a type of knight and I thought it suited as a name because of the bravery theme, but let me know if you think a different name would suit better.

About Dragoon Draphibi (Dragoophibi)

All draphibi have the potential to become dragoon draphibi- The key to the transformation is a chemical called draconin. 
If a draphibi is in a situation where its own life or the life of its friends are in danger, it has the choice to fight or flee. If the draphibi decides to be brave and defend, and the situation is truly dire, their dormant draconin-producing gland activates and they gain the ability to transform into a full-size dragoon draphibi. They can then transform between dragoophibi form and draphibi form at will for the rest of their lives.

I'm also considering having traits that standard draphibi don't have access to, like short tails, larger wings, back spines, etc. I was also thinking about a visual identifier to distinguish dragoophibi in their standard forms from regular draphibi, and I thought having the whites of the eye showing might be a good one, lemme know if you have an opinion on that also.

Upgrade your existing draphibi
Another way to to convert a draphibi is to expose them to Dragoon Dust, which is dried & concentrated draconin.
To convert your draphibi into a dragoophibi I will have base transfers opening soon, and also in future there will be events to win opportunities to convert your draphibi as prize.
